SustainableEnergy’s i work receives grants from several institutions, donors and private members.
The annual turnover in 2011 was 4.0 mil Euro with additional long term commitments from EU and Danida.
Fundings are primary set by both Danish and International project grants covering several years. Ex Danish Electricity Saving Trust, PSO-funds, Danida og EU.
Funding for Energy Service Denmark
In Denmark an extra tax on electricity is used for improving energy efficiency. The Danish power distribution companies and the Danish Electricity Saving Trust are responsible for most of these activities, but since March 2004 it was decided that these funds should also be used to finance additional energy saving activities. Based on this decision the activities of The Energy Service have been supported since 2005.

The objective of SustainableEnergy is actively to work for a sustainable and incorporated energy- and environmental policy – locally as well as internationally, that aims for 100% renewable energy and local resources in a sustainable world.
